Welcome to the Humboldt Rose Society

Clustered in the shadows of magnificent redwoods along California's northern coast, Humboldt County has often been called one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Here, within walking distance of the Pacific Ocean roses bloom and foliage thrives under the thumbs of some of the region's most dedicated and ingenious gardeners.

In our moist climate, there are many challenges facing the rosarian. The Humboldt Rose Society is here to help and to celebrate the many successes that make our land so beautiful. We are a non-profit organization affiliated with the American Rose Society to promote interest in all aspects of rose horticulture through rose shows, educational programs, garden tours and other rose related projects. Whether you are a beginning rose grower or a veteran of the horticultural wars, the Humboldt Rose Society has something for you.

Coming up in November - Election of Officers

The annual election of officers for the Humboldt Rose Society will be taking place at the monthly meeting on November 10th at the Christ Episcopal Church on 15th and H streets in Eureka. Nominations will be accepted from the floor. All rose society members are encouraged to vote.
