Tickets available now for two Rose Society Raffles
The two raffles are to raise money to cover our share of the cost of putting on the 2008 Fall Conference of the NCNH District of the American Rose Society. We are co-hosting with the Shasta Rose Society. The first raffle is of a beautiful queen sized handmade quilt done with a birdhouse pattern. It was donated by our treasurer, Beverly Olson. It also has two pillows which complement it since they match the backing and the trim. The drawing will be held at the awards banquet on Saturday night, October 4, 2008

The second raffle is for a potting bench and additional prize package.
The second raffle is for a really nice durable hardwood garden potting bench which has been loaded with a multitude of hand tools, gardening books, hanging baskets, pots, fertilizers, additives, and more as seen in the picture. The potting bench was donated by Jane Nelson and Beverly Olson, and the rest of the garden items were donated by other members of our Humboldt Rose Society. The drawing for this raffle will be held at the same time and place as the first raffle.
